Distillery

about us
Palmeri began with a place. Bisbee, Arizona!
When we first moved here, we were struck by the agaves growing everywhere—along roadsides, across hillsides, embedded in the landscape in a way that felt both natural and unexpected.
They weren’t cultivated in neat rows or treated as a crop. They were simply part of the desert—resilient, structured, and integral to the landscape.
That moment sparked the idea for the distillery—and eventually, its name. Palmeri is named after one of the native agaves of this region, a reflection of the plants we admire and what we filled our field with.
From the beginning, we knew we didn’t want to separate the process from the place. We wanted to build something rooted here—planting our own agaves from seed, working with the land, and creating spirits that reflect the environment they come from.
What started as an observation has become something we genuinely love: growing, learning, and building something that belongs to this landscape.

Family owned
Palmeri is small, local, and independent.
Co-Founders Jascha Gulden, Megan Foley, and Bill Lindgren all grew up together in a small town in the Pacific Northwest and have been close friends for over 30 years. Jascha and Megan have been married for 20 years, and landed in Bisbee, Arizona with their now seven-year-old son, Desmond, and have been happily playing in the desert ever since.
